FLIP Project (뒤집기 프로젝트)

“FLIP1”(책상정리용품) 과 “FLIP2”(협탁)로 이루어진 프로젝트입니다.

이 프로젝트는 볼트에 양쪽으로 결합된 캡너트를 제품의 발로 이용하는 단순한 구조를 이용하여, 뒤집으며 사용할 수 있는 제품을 구상하며 시작했습니다. 하나의 오브젝트의 양면을 활용하여 실용성을 높이는 동시에, 뒤집어 사용하며 다른 재질과 형태의 면을 사용하는 재미가 있는 프로젝트입니다.

“플립1”(FLIP1)은 양면이 서로 다른, 뒤집는 책상정리용품(Desk Organizer)입니다.

A, B 두 종류로, 총 4가지 형태의 면을 갖고있어 뒤집어 사용할수 있습니다. 이 면들에 위치한 크고 작은 원과 길쭉한 타원의 형태의 홈은 여러가지 물건들을 수납, 정리 혹은 전시 할 수 있습니다.

또한, 총 9가지 다른 색과 재질의 소재를 투명한 아크릴과 겹쳐 결합 하였으며 이를 통해 여러종류의 플립을 다양한 조합으로 활용할 수 있습니다. 다채로운 질감과 모양을 가진 플립의 양면을 뒤집어보면서 사용자들은 자신의 소지품을 그 특성에 따라 정리하여, 더 아름답게 보관할수 있습니다.

FLIP Project

This project consists of “FLIP1”(Desk Organizer) and “FLIP2”(Side Table).

We started from a simple structure that using cap nuts on both sides of the bolt as the foot, so it can be flipped over when used. By utilizing both sides of one single product, it enhances practicality and makes user enjoy different materials and shapes of each sides.

“FLIP1” is a reversible desk organizer that has different sides.

It comes in two size options(A/B), so they have four different shaped sides. Grooves in circles and elongated ellipses on each side can be used to organize beloingings or display objects.

In addition, a total of nine different colored materials has combined with transparent acrylics, allowing users build a variety of combinations with multiple “FLIP1”s. By flipping over “FLIP1”s colorful textured sides, user can organize belongings more suitably and store them more aesthetically.
